Read and share the first two documents to gain an understanding of the earliest church and the Biblical basis for House Church or Simple Church today. This is not at all meant to be critical of the traditional churches but rather to understand another way of having fellowship. Another helpful article to read is about the "One Anothers". If you could suggest others, then please feel free to contact us.
Children and Youth in House/Simple Church
It is important for a home church to seek the Holy Spirit's guidance as to what God wants in the involvement of the children and teens in your group. All children are different. Every home church is unique. Home churches are generally resistant to setting up separate children's programs such as a Sunday School situation, but rather encourage children to participate in every aspect of the life and witness of the church. There is no 'junior Holy Spirit' and children grow amazingly in spiritual maturity in home church. There are some House Church groups that do have a seperate "teen group" which is mentored by an adult or mature teen. This also works quite well.
